There are parking fees at Balboa Park, but after many struggles, the fee structure for City residents has been REDUCED quite a bit.

​It's been a wild ride.
Many of us have been reading about City Council adopted changes to parking fees in Balboa Park. And you've probably heard for years about the lack of funds to maintain the park, which is the city's crown jewel.

You can pay more to park up close. Pay less to park further away, and there is a shuttle tram that will pick you up at the Inspiration Point lot where the cost to park is lower.
