Plant table offerings for February...
This month's plant table will be a selection from David Kennedy, with a wide variety of plants on offer!
On the AUCTION BLOCK this month:
1. Vriesea pseudoatra - 'Eureka' Large-growing Brazilian species mentioned in one of Juliana's presentations. In the wild, small populations of the variegated form can be found. In collections it is still quite rare. This is the best clone. These are reluctant to bloom but produce many offsets. Easy to grow but good water advisable.
2. Tillandsia imperialis x deppeana - A natural hybrid that, in the trade, is only offered occasionally by BRT (via their TGIF), from whence the original plant was obtained years ago. Plant offered is near mature-size.
3. Tillandsia xerographica x chiapensis - Dave imported a few of these from Thailand last year from Pachara, who has made multiple variants from this grex. Probably this is the first time this particular one is available in North America.
