Coffee in the Brom Garden

The next Coffee In the Brom Garden:  _____, 10am
... a Bromeliad Brag Session.  This session is based on the SD Cactus & Succulent Society's very successful "Brag Table" competition.

Here's how the Bromeliad Brag Session will work:
By Thursday, ----, email your best photos of your plants that are looking good and that fit in the categories below.   Be sure to compose your photos in good indirect sunlight.  Crop your photos if you wish.  You can enter in 1 or all 5 categories, but send only one entry per category.  Send images in .tif or .jpg format, under 5 megabytes each to Scott.  During the meeting, we will vote on our favorites.  ...Here are the categories:
>  Best , flowering or foliage
>  Best , flowering or foliage
>  Best , flowering or foliage
>  Best ,  grown in the ground
>  Best --- Tillandsia, group or single

About the Zoom Coffee in the Brom Garden Series
In addition to our monthly meetings, we are having Coffee in the Brom Garden events monthly, between our regular meetings.  Our Coffee meetings are also be on Zoom, with informal demonstrations, focus topic  vignettes and other programming.  Have any suggested topics?  Be on the lookout both here on the website and in your email inbox for the invitations.

We've had Zoom Coffee in the Garden meetings in April, June and July.  We started with just over a dozen participants, and it grew to over 20 who participated. Turns out — this is a decent medium for demonstrations and discussing the basic and not-so-basic topics of bromeliad cultivation,  If you want more information on how to participate by Zoom, email Scott.
